1. What Skalr is
Skalr is a paid leaderboard where people rank a username. Skalr is an independent platform.
2. Who can use Skalr
You must be 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm your age. We may ask for proof and close accounts that don’t meet this rule.
3. Your account
You log in with your email and a one-time code we send you. Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Each account can add one username only.
4. Usernames
Each account can add one username only. Once your first claim is confirmed, your account stays with that username.
Anyone can enter any username. The same username can be entered by more than one person, from their own accounts. It can be your own username or someone else’s. Entering a username does not give you control of it or any rights in the account behind it.
Before a claim counts, we check the username using automated (AI) review and, where needed, a person. We look for placeholders, offensive or spam-like handles, and invalid formats. If the username does not pass, we cancel the claim and refund you in full. We can’t promise to catch every problem, and we may remove a profile later if we find it breaks these terms.
5. How claiming works
The leaderboard lists every confirmed claim as its own entry, ranked by amount. Claims are not added together. If you pay twice, your username appears twice, at two ranks.
The price to claim is always exactly ₹1 more than the current #1 claim (₹1 if nobody has claimed yet). You cannot choose a different amount. The highest claim holds #1. To climb again, pay again at the new price.
The price is confirmed when you pay. If #1 changes first, we show you the new price before you are charged. Every price is used once: if another claim is confirmed at your exact price first, we can’t place yours and we refund it in full.
6. Payments and delivery
Payments are in Indian rupees through Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI details. There is nothing to ship: your leaderboard entry is delivered digitally once the username passes verification, usually within seconds.
7. No refunds
All claims are final and non-refundable, except in the limited cases in our No-Refund Policy.
8. Seasons and profiles
Each season lasts 30 days, counted from its first confirmed claim. When it ends, we archive the final ranks and the next season starts from zero. Profiles stay listed permanently, including after a season ends.
9. Ranks and results
Ranks are dynamic and change when other users claim. Skalr does not guarantee followers, likes, reach, or any business result.
10. Rules
Do not use Skalr to harass, mislead or defraud anyone, including by entering a username to target or embarrass a person. Do not create fake accounts, use bots, or interfere with the service.
We may hide a profile, cancel a claim, or ban an account that breaks these rules. Claims from banned accounts are not refundable, except as set out in the No-Refund Policy.
11. Alerts, emails and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
We email you about your account: login codes, payment confirmations, when you reach #1, and when you are overtaken. We use email and automation providers to send these messages.
12. Liability
Skalr is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for any dispute is limited to the amount you paid for the claim that the dispute relates to.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will tell you before it applies.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
